Help The Doctors Help You
This is quite the common scenario, when patients came with different pills, unlabelled.
This actually is a problem for doctors;
Contrary to what a lot of patients believe, while the medications come in all form, shape, size, and colour, doctors are unable to (and shouldn't) identify each pill/tablet/capsule by just looking at it.
Let me show you what I mean:

| The tip of an iceberg of the white pills we have in our clinic. Please name these pills (answer below) |
While some pills/capsules may be readily identified, most of them not.
There are many different drug companies out there, and for the same type of medicine different companies with produce them in different forms/shapes/sizes/colours....
So, would you want doctors to make wild guesses of the medications?
Here's how you can help.
1) Know your own body better
Know what you may be suffering from: High blood pressure, diabetes, any possible allergy to anything or any medication.
2) Know your medications
Know the names of the medications you are on and their effects.
If possible, make an up to date list of the medications that you are taking (long term), how many times and how many pills/capsules you are taking each day.
3. Keep your record
Keep the record of previous surgeries/admissions/blood tests results/reports etc.
Although it will be good if you keep them orderly arranged, but if you find it a hassle to keep them, just dump all of the documents in a box, then let us flip them through for you.
These are the things that will help the doctors decide the most suitable treatment and advices for you.
Yep, you are still responsible for your own well-being.
Stay happy and healthy ^_^
